A light in the middle of darkness.
July 11, 2023
“I am a grandmother raising my two granddaughters. They are the ones that are enjoying the house the most. They finally get to live in a house that allows them to play, read, listen to music, and more.
The biggest difference we have with our new home is the security – security from the outside world and weather. The conditions we used to live in were terrible. We did not have a floor; my walls were built poorly and made of used wood. I used to buy tarps so I could cover our roof to prevent the rain from coming in, but it was impossible in those conditions. I am so thankful to each person who answered my prayer. When I was hopeless with no faith, they came to me as an answer. They were a light in the middle of my darkness. Thank you for looking after the needy and lost. Thanks to you, I started to believe in Him again.” -Rosa
Thank you to Westminster Presbyterian Church for making this possible last year. You have given Rosa a brighter future and a safe home to raise her granddaughters. Your gift transcends to the next generation.
