Giving Tuesday 2024
Our incredible Mexico team is constantly working hard to find better ways to serve our groups and enhance your experience when staying at our camps – from rebuilding the baños, mending fences, to expanding our La Cocina dining area.
This year on Giving Tuesday, you can support our team by sponsoring items on our Mexico team’s Giving Tuesday Wish List. Your generous donations will allow our team in Mexico to purchase these much needed items locally.
On December 3rd for Giving Tuesday, our goal is to raise $15,000. This will go toward resources like new kitchen tools and appliances for our La Cocina team, new tool kit containers for our Tools Team, and a new Circus Tent at our camp.
Your gifts on Giving Tuesday will help us to expand Amor’s programs, such as La Cocina – allowing us to serve even more groups, and in turn create even more local jobs. Your support will help us better serve you and our groups that serve alongside us, so we can serve and build alongside even more families in Mexico!
Here’s are a few examples of what your donations can help us purchase:
- $150 – Tool kit container for our Tools team
- $600 – Stand mixer for La Cocina
- $1,800 – Semi-professional kitchen refrigerator for La Cocina
- $5,000 – toward a new Circus Tent ($10,000) to be used by our groups at our camp
